AUTONAVIS R&D: Real-World Validation of Autonomous Systems

AUTONAVIS R&D is a deep-tech innovation partner advancing autonomous systems through continuous real-world validation and embedded AI integration. We address a critical gap in European R&D: the lack of structured, scalable validation between algorithm development and operational deployment.

Our core capability lies in transforming fragmented development into a closed-loop validation process, where perception, decision-making, and system behaviour are continuously tested, measured, and optimized in real operating conditions. Our approach treats validation as a structured, measurable process—reducing field effort while maximizing actionable insight.

At the centre of this approach is GoCAV, a fully in-house autonomous platform enabling rapid prototyping and system-level validation of autonomous functions. Through weekly, scenario-based testing in controlled environments, we generate high-quality datasets, validate system robustness, and deliver measurable performance improvements across perception, navigation, and embedded control systems.

AUTONAVIS operates with full system ownership—hardware, software, and data—eliminating dependency on proprietary platforms and enabling low-cost, high-speed experimentation. This provides a unique capability for consortia requiring rapid integration, testing, and validation of advanced technologies without industrial constraints.

Our expertise spans

  • Autonomous navigation & perception
  • Embedded AI and real-time decision-making systems
  • V2X communication and road-safety technologies
  • Scenario-based validation and KPI-driven system evaluation

With experience in European and national R&D projects, we contribute as a technical validation partner, supporting system integration, experimental design, performance benchmarking, and evidence-based assessment.

Strategic Positioning

AUTONAVIS enables the transition from simulation-driven development to continuous, real-world validation workflows, directly aligned with emerging priorities in:

  • CCAM and autonomous mobility
  • Edge AI for perception and decision-making
  • Real-world system validation
  • Civil and defence autonomous applications

Vision

We are scaling our validated technologies toward compact last-mile autonomous platforms and expanding into dual-use applications, supporting both civil mobility and defence scenarios.

AUTONAVIS R&D is actively seeking partnerships within Horizon Europe and EDF consortia, contributing a unique and proven capability:

Integrated real-world validation of autonomous systems under controlled, repeatable, and measurable conditions.
